How Farmax forecasts 12 months ahead
No-one has real 12-month-ahead schedules — processors only publish the current week. Farmax projects
forward by taking the current schedule and applying long-term monthly seasonal
relativities (each month as a % of the season average) from AgFirst's ~20-year price database,
downloaded monthly from the Farmax bureau. To match Farmax exactly, pull this week's schedule into the
Base field and, if you have the AgFirst relativities, set the seasonal shape to match. The built-in
Lamb/Beef/Cow shapes are indicative — calibrate them to your data.
